19:36 80% growth in exhibition area at MiningWorld Central Asia, Kazcomak and KazMet |
MiningWorld Central Asia, the main mining and metallurgical event in Central Asia, opens on September the 15th, in Almaty.
The show is located across three pavilions and outdoor space at the Atakent Exhibition Centre. The exhibition will be open to visitors until 17 September. The event is organised by the Kazakhstani exhibition company Iteca, together with international partners from Germany, the UK, China and Turkey. The exhibition once again brings together several special events: MiningWorld Central Asia 2010, the 16th Central Asian International Mining and Processing of Metals and Minerals Exhibition; Kazcomak 2010, the 7th Kazakhstan International Heavy Construction & Machinery Exhibition; and KazMet 2010, the 3rd Central Asian International Metallurgy, Metal-Working and Machinery Construction Exhibition.
MiningWorld Central Asia 2010 features 215 companies from 25 countries: Australia, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, UK, Germany, Iran, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Canada, China, Netherlands, Norway, UAE, Peru, Poland, USA, Turkey, Ukraine, Finland, France, Switzerland, Sweden and South Korea. This year, interest in MiningWorld Central Asia has noticeably increased: the regular exhibitors have been joined by companies from Australia and Peru. Many international exhibitors will be presented by national stands, including: Norway, Finland, Australia and France. The latter two countries have, for the first time, organised the participation of companies on a group national stands.
"The exhibition area at MiningWorld Central Asia 2010, which unites a number of events on mining, has increased by 80% against last year, amounting to 6,000m². The exhibition outside has become much larger: we have taken all the available outdoor space in front of the pavilions at the Atakent Exhibition Centre. For the first time, drilling rigs will be presented, and traditionally for these exhibitions, excavators and loaders. Also noteworthy is the percentage of domestic and international exhibitors at the exhibition is 50/50, which has not been seen for many years. This wonderful indicator very clearly demonstrates the positive trends in the smelting and mining industries,” says Boris Danilenko, manager of the MiningWorld Central Asia, Kazcomak and KazMet exhibitions.
As part of the exhibition, together with the Republican Association of Mining and Metallurgical Enterprises of Kazakhstan, there will be a roundtable discussion on the "Programme for the development of Kazakhstan’s mining and metallurgical industry for 2010-2014”. In the seminar room at the exhibition, participating companies will give specialised seminars on topics such as: "Glass and enamelled equipment used in the processing of precious and non-ferrous metals”; "Technologies in the field of gravity concentration and intensive cyanidation”; "Using wear-resistant sheets in the mining industry”; and more. |
